Can you handle an Individual that won’t put you first in their life. Someone who always keeps God first, family, and then you until you become their husband or wife
Can you handle an individual that looks beyond their sexual desires and waits until they are marriedSomeone who is willing to give you true Agape love until the day that they are buried
Can you handle an individual that is willing to praise God in any locationSomeone who doesn’t mind spreading God’s word and helping others reach salvation
Can you handle an individual that requires you to try and live your life for the LordSomeone who will challenge you to do better each day and won’t stop even if they are ignored
Can you handle an individual that may be pushed away by others because they stand firm in what they believeSomeone who will not stop praising regardless of the situation, until their job for God has been achieved
Can you handle an individual that will never bring another person into the relationshipSomeone who won’t have sex again until marriage, so there isn’t any room for them to slip
Can you handle an individual that will tell you the truth even if it is something you do not want to hearSomeone who lets the Lord lead them and will do the Lords will even if it draws a tear
Can you handle an individual that will give God more attention than they are giving to youSomeone who will treat you like a true King or Queen and make you say “this is too good to be true”.
Many people think they can handle a saved individual, but can you really? A truly saved individual will be a big adjustment for some. A truly saved individual will always put God first in their life. For an unsaved individual, this may be uncomfortable or they could become aggravated, because they may always hear about God. Do you want to hear about God 24/7? That may be the risk of dating a saved individual.
Can you stop having sex until marriage? For many, this is a true sacrifice. This can be a sacrifice that can last for years, because you have to go through a relationship (which takes time) before you make it to the marriage stage. This may be a risk you are taking if you choose to date a saved individual.
Can you handle being challenged on your secular ways? Many of us like to think we are being judged and/or attacked because someone make us aware of something ungodly we are doing. This may be a risk you are taking when dating a saved individual. A saved individual may say things that may hurt your feelings, but it’s not to make you feel bad but instead they are trying to help you reach salvation and Heaven
Truly ask yourself, can you handle dating a saved individual? Is it more work than you are willing to do? Would you rather date an unsaved individual that will make life easy for you? Life is full of challenges so remember that anything worth having requires work.
Continue to pray and let God lead your life. Stay Blessed!
